Update: I sent the company an email telling them how disappointed I was in this. They sent me a replacement, which I appreciated. This one worked, after a fashion. I added two stars because they did the right thing, and the desk actually does what I needed. However, it's still not really that well built. The biggest issue is the machining. Almost all the bolt threads were scratchy and I ended up using some white lithium grease to help out. One of the feet needed Vise Grips to tighten all the way down.
So, in the end, it's OK. It does the job, but it's a long way from a well-built piece of furniture at the price I paid for it.

I bought this because I wanted a stand up bench to do projects at and it fit my space. I ordered it and Wayfair sent me the wrong item. They sent one of two boxes for a daybed. They sent a replacement desk and arranged to pick up the other one.
When I finally got this one and assembled it, I found out that many people are correct. The build is very poor. I didn't have enough the correct size screws and several of the threaded holes wouldn't take the screws. Worst of all the lifting mechanisms on both sides are absolutely frozen in place. I ended up trying to take one side apart to see if I could fix it. I finally got so frustrated I actually attempted to break it because the lock isn't really necessary. No luck. Now I am stuck with a cheap table at the lowest position and I can't send it back. Even stuck it's too low to be useful.
Given all that, congratulations Wayfair. You've lost a customer for life.
