My daughter got her own place and wanted a dresser that had drawers that slide easily. I found this one on Wayfair and it looked great so I ordered, it showed up two days later (wow!) and it looked a lot nicer than I expected.

Overall not bad. But drawers are wonky and don’t move smoothly

Great little chest of drawers

This dresser is solid sturdy despite not being solid wood. Every edge is finished nicely. The only raw plywood to be seen is in a groove where two pieces are inserted. After completion, there is no unsightly angle to be seen or sharp edge that would snag clothes. See the finish against our natural stained oak wood floors (like actual oak floors, not vinyl). The color is pretty good. We're furniture assembling noobs, but it took hours. It was like solving a challenge together. Just took hours to assemble the several dozen pieces of wood and hardware. Totally worth it, but reserve enough time to get this done without feeling stressed. Was delivered in a well-packed, reasonably sized, unreasonable heavy box.

Assembly proved to be time consuming. However, as I am a 77 year old female I decided to use my own tools, not power tools, as the ones provided are not what you need. Directions were fine and easy to follow. This chest is a nice size. Five average sized drawers! The drawers closed fairly smoothly when empty but when I added items they weren’t quite as smooth.
