Solid Wood Computer Desk

Overall not bad. One of the wood pieces was split in half and had multiple alignment issues. After fixing a few things, it is cute and provides lots of desk space.

I purchased this desk for my new home office. We are currently renovating a room in our basement to become my office and I wanted a new, larger desk for the space. This one caught my eye after browsing Wayfair's site - I was looking for a solid wood desk with a simple design (just 4 legs - no drawers or shelves) and this fit the bill. I loved the waved edging on it, the color, and the style so I placed my order. My desk was delivered within 4-5 days and we put it together a couple days after delivery. The building process was relatively easy - the instructions were great and easy to follow and it went together nicely. I've had issues with some furniture in the past where drilled holes don't line up nicely, or parts are missing, etc. No issues here and my husband and I had it together within 30-40 minutes. It is a solid wood desk, though I have to say it's not a very "strong" wood - it must be a cheaper pine because it's very soft and will likely scratch/dent easily. I'm hoping that since I will have this desk in a separate room, it will be protected from kids/pets and other things that could potentially damage it. I did buy a desk protector pad to protect the top of it as well. While I haven't used it for work yet, I'm anxious to get it into my new office and set up my workspace. I think it will look perfect in the room, and coordinates well with the area rug and office chair I also recently purchased. Overall - I am pleased with the desk, but curious to see how it holds up over time.

Beautiful, solid desk. Decently easy to put together but some holes did not match up so had to leave 2 screws partially out, luckily you can't see.

The corners were defective.
