The table had some dents on the sides, which was definitely not part of the design.

I got the brass, not the black. It is glorious. Very well made. Strong, remains like brand new even after very heavy wear. Never gets scratched, never gets rings from condensation. Can hold many heavy feet plus heavy decorative books. Looks significant. Just fabulous.

This coffee table is fabulous! It was too low for me so I returned it, but it is perfect for a more contemporary setting!
