Derived from the French word for 'curled' or 'ringed' yarn or fabric. This handwoven upholstered furniture piece is made of 100% cotton and natural yarn, combing a solid wood frame and legs which are constructed from 100% solid mango wood in an chestnut finish, and a uniquely designed rattan back, allowing both finishes and materials to compliment each other beautifully.
Handcrafted from sustainably sourced wood, each piece is truly unique. Natural characteristics such as grain, knots, and tonal variations should be celebrated as hallmarks of authenticity, not flaws. While digital imagery provides a close representation, each item carries its own individuality—so subtle differences in material, color, or finish may appear—yet every piece remains consistent in quality, specifications, and craftsmanship.
This product is handmade using quality solid wood in a community-driven, sustainable way which is certified by B Corp. Furthermore, the entire supply chain of timber management is certified under responsible forestry. The factory is socially compliant and is aiming for a net zero carbon-free future by 2030.
