The pedestal stand was required to support a large plant. It was quite pricy for what it is though, but I needed a tall stand and this fitted the bill and does the job.

Looks great and the height really helps set the plant off in the room - and more importantly keeps if out of reach of the cat.

This is a lovely plant stand. Very thick wood looks good quality. However, I could've got the size down as the pot I have in it looks swamped. It will fit a 30cm pot easily my pot is 24cm and there's lots of room each side. But can't fault the stand.
