It was a little awkward to put together for my partner who is very capable with flat packing and DIY. Either the instructions are not perfectly clear or he was having an off day. When put together it is very solid. With a good clean paint finish. A wooden strip is provided which is attached to the wall using screws and plugs. Another wooden strip is screwed to the back of the stand itself. 2 people are need to pick the stand up and place it on the wall. The TV stand can be moved side to side on the wall bracket which is good for making minor adjustments. Very happy
