Braunstein 6 Door Wardrobe

You get what you pay for! We love the wardrobe as it gives us lots more space! But it took 2 of us a good few hours to put it together! the instructions told you to do some jobs early but made no sense to do some things in the order it said so we had to move 2 bits around and take bits out so it all fit together nicely.

This comes in 5 big boxes about 30kg each and you need quite a bit of space as you need to be able to access all the boxes. The instructions are in box 1, but the first parts you need are in box 3 and the fittings are in box 5 (it would have been nice to build it one box at a time but the parts are not stored like that). It is good and sturdy and looks OK. My only gripe would be the door hinges - given all the panels are machined I don't understand why it couldn't have ordinary door hinges rather than the horrible fiddly adjustable ones. Also the doors are quite heavy for the small hinge screws, I would have preferred normal door hinges. The drawers have good secure bases that are not going to let clothes escape from under them like some self-assembly furniture. I assembled this on my own; but the manufactures correctly recommend using 2 people which would have made it much easier. All in all I am very pleased with it and think it represents good value for money.
