Bed was damaged and they sent me out a replacement thankfully I kept hold of damaged one as the replacement was also damaged. This bed is perfect for smaller bedrooms. Made of hardwood (birch), which is especially suitable for youths' furniture, giving it a much longer lifetime than furniture made of softwood or MDF. You can use the space under the bed for storage or set up a learning corner with a desk. It comes with guard rails and a nifty blackboard on one end of the bed. You can choose the side for the guard rails and the blackboard. The producer's recommended age is 6 years and older.

I have purchased size 80x180 cm of Stearns bed for my 2.5 year old daughter. Her room is on the smaller side and it fits the room perfectly. It was easy to assemle and the instructions were brief and clear. I really like the bare timber finish. If only it came in oak... The estimated delivery was showing 6-8 weeks but it arrived way earlier in 2 weeks. One thing that stands out in this bed is that there are 2 horizontal pieces at the top which leaves the front open.
