The Haefner secretary desk with hutch is a practical and particularly space-saving workspace. With its shallow depth, it ensures the best use of space, e.g. in a corridor. The large worktop can be folded down gently thanks to two high-pressure dampers. Behind the door are a practical laptop compartment and a storage shelf. Side pockets, which are also suitable for a PC, and shelves behind the worktop expand the storage space of the Haefner.

Really like this desk. It does indeed take 2 people and a few hours to assemble, but it is cleverly designed to fit in a small space. If possible it'd be rated 4.5 because additional materials to bracket it to the wall are not included. I mean apologies for an already cluttered desk, it was for my teenage son. This desk is very sturdy and easy to put together (an older brother 17 did it). He needed a desk for more room, gaming and study and this desk provides it all. The only downside is that the base unit from his PC was too long to fit on the shelf (bottom right). I am pretty delighted with the finished product… but what an absolute ball-ache to put together! It’s fine until you get to the drawer unit, then it’s a bit of a guessing game as the instructions are next to useless. Got there in the end so all’s well that ends well I guess. As an aside, pretty disappointed that this desk is so much cheaper if you buy direct (see Daals website - I looked it up when it arrived and I could see from the box where it came from).
