I bought a Tutti Bambini play mat and overall I’d say it’s a really solid choice, especially if you want something that looks nice in your home as well as being practical for a baby. The first thing I noticed was the quality. It feels well-made and has a decent amount of cushioning, which is great for tummy time and when babies start rolling and crawling. It’s comfortable enough that I can sit on it with my baby without feeling the hard floor underneath, which makes a big difference during longer play sessions. One of the biggest advantages is how easy it is to clean. The surface is wipeable, so any spills, milk, or mess can be sorted in seconds. That alone makes it much more convenient than fabric mats, which tend to absorb everything and need frequent washing. I also really like the design. Unlike a lot of baby products, it doesn’t look overly bright or plastic-y. The neutral, modern patterns mean it blends in well with the rest of the room, and in some cases it can even replace a rug. That said, it’s not perfect. The price is definitely on the higher side compared to basic play mats, so it might not be worth it if you’re on a tight budget.
