Standard Mate's & Captain's with Storage Included

Good points first - sturdy and looks good; the pivoting bed base is just right for the narrow space into which the bed is placed, giving excellent access to the underbed storage. A few problems though, with delivery and assembly. The bed was delivered in a bashed, broken and partly-open cardboard box. However, all major parts appeared to be present with no apparent damage. Assembly was not easy. The list of parts was incorrect, and some details of the instructions were wrong (e.g. only 1 dowel, not 2, at each end of the guard rail). The screws to secure the slats were missing from the fixings pack (parts list said 1 should be present but instructions refer to using 6; I used 32mm drywall screws which worked fine). The main problem was that no detail was given of how to fit the pivot mechanism, and as this involved fitting a pretty hefty spring at each end (see 1st 2 photos), into a choice of 3 different tension holes, better guidance would have been useful. That said, the bed looks great (see 3rd photo) and our little grandson loves it.

Not as strong as I expected. The side rails broke pretty early on and after 3 years one of the bottom slats broke too. I think it could've been stronger seeing as kids love jumping etc on their beds. However, the storage has been absolutely great. Was very hard to find a mattress or duvet cover sets that fit this soze. If you can of recommend just going for a single sized bed

Few issues post assembly. One of the bed slats have snapped. 5 year old on the bed shouldnt really have snapped after 1 months use. The bed rail has also broke and the bed creaks a lot. I wouldnt recommend the bed. Size is good if you dont mind fixing it. I dont think it will last long. Customer service has been excellent and new parts have been sent out when requested.

Very poor packaging and instructions

Łóżko przyszło szybciej niż było to zapowiedziane. Więc . Plusem też jest podnoszenie stelaża z materacem co daje łatwy dostęp do pojemnika. Ogólnie lozko dobrze się sprawuje. Jednak minusem byla instrukcja- zbyt ogólna. Dla laika nie zrozumiała. Kolejny minus to niedopasowane elementy. Musieliśmy dodać własne dystanse przy mocowaniu silownikow. Producencie zadbaj o to!!!. No i na koniec ostatni minus bok pojemnika ma spory uszczerbek, naszczescie widoczny tylko po otwarciu pojemnika. Ogólnie lozko ok. Synek go lubi. Zastanawiam się nad zakupem drugiego dla córki. Ale boję się powtórki z montażem. ... Ogólnie forma podnoszonego tapczanu lepsza od szuflad.
