These doors were just what we were looking for in our 1960s house. The measurements were spot on, only had to take off a small amount for hanging perfectly. Add on a cheaper version of the old Bakelite handles and I’m really pleased with the finished look.. Anonymous. Fri Mar 22 2024

These are fairly well made doors with a great range of sizes. They still need a great deal of finishing work even though they come primed as the wood finishing could be better. In the description they claim that the wood type is Oak however to me they look like a pine carcass with a manufactured wood coat. The advantages are that they are very heavy and have safety glass as standard, another bonus is that they are rebated saving lots of time and there is a film coating on the glass to help with painting I would however recommend the addition of masking tape. All in all a good product but expect to put in a lot of time on the finish as a little more care in the actual finish at the factory could be better.. Gary. Portsmouth, GB. Tue Jul 21 2020

Very pleased with the quality of the door. Heavy and a nice subtle grain. Less pleased with the packaging though. We had to return the first door as the corners were inadequately protected, with just an L-shaped piece of thin plastic that didn’t even cover the faces of the door. There was a no quibble return, but the replacement door was also damaged, although not as badly. Again, the same inadequate corner protectors had been used. As our builders were about to finish we had no choice but to accept the door in order for it to be fitted. Fortunately we were able to disguise the worst of the damage, but a simple change to the packaging could have saved all the hassle and waste. Fortunately Wayfair very generously discounted the final price so we were satisfied with the overall customer service, and would use again.. Matt. Beckenham, GB. Mon Nov 23 2020

I will only give these 4 stars. Despite them being lovely looking, substantial, good quality doors one is not quite square. We trimmed the bottom to fit the opening to find that when we offered the door up the top edge is out of square by about 1/4 inch. This was unexpected in doors that cost £550. It can be rectified luckily but isn't ideal. We now have to borrow an electric planer to cut the top so it is flush. Hence I have 1 door on and 1 waiting to be fitted tomorrow. Other than that I am happy with the purchase and am looking forward to seeing them hung and finished.. Sarah. Port Talbot, GB. Thu Jan 27 2022
