Top Gres is the leading Italian manufacturer of tableware and ornamental items in Gres stoneware for the home. The Treviso company was established in Postioma in 1972, when Gino Dalle Crode founded "CerAmica", an historic ceramic tableware company, from which Top Gres naturally evolved. During the 80s, the shrinking of the ceramic market and the invasion of Chinese products pushed the company into having to rethink production, resulting in a move from earthenware to Gres. "Gres, at that time considered a rather rough material and used almost entirely for flooring,thanks to the imaginative craftsmanship of Dalle Crode, became the raw material for tableware and furnishing of average to high value, increasingly conquering the market of reference". This unique material, worked and decorated at the Postioma site, transforms into high quality products to add a characteristic touch of elegant loveliness to both cuisine and table. Today, Emanuele and Daniele Dalle Crode now part of the family-run business, together with their father, the founder, continue to design new ideas, to enrich the catalogue with new collections, to introduce technological innovations to the production process, while still preserving their principles of craftsmanship.
