The unit is solid and roomy — the 1200L capacity swallows a surprising amount of garden gear and cushions — and the polypropylene panels look neat in our garden. The panels and fittings feel durable, and once assembled the box feels stable and weather-resistant. Assembly took my daughter and me about two hours from start to finish. All the pieces fit together well and the instructions are clear, so the actual construction was straightforward. However, the panels arrived without pre-punched holes, so we had to drill every single hole ourselves. That was the most time-consuming part and added extra effort and noise if you don’t have power tools or someone to help, it would be much tougher. Other than the drilling, everything else went smoothly the hinges, lid alignment and locking points lined up, and the finished product opens and closes without issue. For the price it feels like good value — attractive, practical storage that should stand up to normal outdoor use — as long as you’re prepared for a bit of DIY work up front. This raised bed is well worth paying a little more for. It took about an hour and a half to assemble (32 screws) but the finished product is excellent quality. It is very sturdy, strong, fade proof, waterproof and has a modern colouring to blend into most gardens, it won't need painting or treating, and I found it a good height for me at 5 foot 5 inches. Once filled with soil it is also wind proof. You can plant about 15 lettuce comfortably, or more if you plant them closer still. The bonus for me which I was not aware of before ordering, is the water gauge. The gauge tells you when to water your plants, or if there is too much water in the bed, if it is flooded from rain there is a plug to release the excess water onto the ground below or into a watering can. Very pleased with this plastic 6x6 shed Took 2 people about 2 hours to build it. Really pleased with the natural light from the sky screen at the top and the window. Great quality and feels super sturdy. Have had really heavy rain since being built and has got no leaks! Doesn’t come with a lock but isn’t a big deal for me.
