I purchased this little table for my daughter's apartment. We like the table a lot. She could have chosen a bigger one, this is still quite small. But, we measured and she chose this size. The stone top is much nicer than a laminated top. The pedestal is plastic, but you cannot tell. The top is not attached with anything but double sided tape. So you have to be careful not to put all of your weight on it - any round table is about the same. I just wish there was a way of attaching it. Screws might splinter the top, so we decided against that. She has had the table for a few months now and it is just as shiny as when she got it. She is careful only to wipe it with soap and water as to not dull the marble look. It is an okay size for one person. I think a bigger one is necessary for two people to each comfortably. However, two or three can sit around with drinks and snack. It doesn't make a good dining table for more than two small people, at most. But we are happy with the purchase.. Mrs. B. Riverside, CA.
