I needed this pole for eyelet curtains and figured I'd just take the rings off. When I removed the stop at the end of the pole, I could not get it back on again. There is what I assume is a design fault where the screw which attaches to the end is not fixed and instead is loose in the pole. It therefore doesn't stay in place when you try to re attach
